The Lonely Sun

Directed by: Peter Mattson

Written by: Peter Mattson

Once there was a young Star, an immense, fiery being. A great warmth burned inside the Star, and he shared with those around him. Nearby lived a small rock named Earth. The Star touched the rock and inspired life. They lived together with deep meaning for many years. Routine settled in, and the Star began to feel unappreciated, so he left her behind. The Star traveled far away from his former love, constructed a massive stage in deep space, and created an elaborate, autobiographical play. He wanted to remind the Earth why she loved him...but no one came to his play. Now...guilt sticks to him like tar.
